My "Short" Story

As a social entrepreneur, executive producer, advocate, and philanthropist, I am known for my work in leadership development, personal transformation, and empowering executives to reach their full potential. With a background in business and leadership, I combine my MBA training with years of practical experience to help executives navigate challenges in their careers and lives.

While I have experience managing teams and multimillion-dollar budgets across the U.S., Europe, and Africa in the corporate world, my heart-first approach continually draws me back to entrepreneurs and executives that focus on advancing women's rights & empowerment. Working with these organizations, I leverage my expertise in finance and business to design and implement innovative solutions to global community challenges, fostering collaboration and open communication to unite diverse perspectives and achieve meaningful progress.

As the Executive Producer for several TEDx events, I am responsible for content creation, branding, promotions, marketing, curation of speakers, developing audience experiences, multi-media production, fundraising, contract negotiations, and managing volunteers and staff. Currently, our brand reaches over 25 countries with speakers and attendees coming from over 20 states and as far as Germany, India, and Poland to experience our events.

Today, I serve as President of the Board for both the Washington DC branch of the American Association of University Women and the Mary Church Terrell Foundation. I’m also the Founder & President of Journey to Your Promised Land, Inc., Principal of Webster’s Wealth Management Solutions Corporation, and a proud AmeriCorps VISTA alum.

I hold an MBA in Finance from Trinity Washington University, a BS in Organizational Management from Columbia Union College, and multiple certifications in finance, community building, and hate and bias crime prevention. My mission is simple: to use my business/finance skills, compassion, and drive to make a lasting impact on people and communities worldwide.
